Black Diamond	Listening to Black Diamond assures us that the future of calypso is in good hands. He’s an interesting blend of a new era calypsonian with an old school feel. Always topical in his social commentary singing Upon Video
Bobb	Seasoned veteran Bobb is back in the finals for 2014 after placing 4th in the 2012 and 2013 competitions. One of the best voices in Dominica Calypso, Bobb is hoping 2014 is his lucky year. Singing Original Dominican Calypsonian
Booplé	Booplé is back in the final after a few years absence. Singing Magician Politician
Dice	Dice again for 2014? He has been unbeatable in the past few years. Let’s see whether the competition can do anything about that this year. It could well be just another day at the office for Dice. Singing Time for Change
Hunter	Hunter a seasoned veteran and three time Calypso King is back in the final after the infamous “Palmgate” incident of 2013 that forced him to withdraw from the competition. Singing You Don’t Know
Leona	Leona has made the biggest splash for the 2014 calypso competition with the most popular song so far this year “Baby Machine”. The former QTS winner has taken the calypso scene by storm delivering veteran-like performances of that song. A first time finalist singing Baby Machine
Picky	Picky the oldest competitor for 2014 who barely made it through the elimination show delivered a command performance drawing from his over 40 years of calypso experience to land a place as a finalist. Rumors
Wave	Wave is another first time finalist who delivered his message with conviction and credibility. Job well done. Singing I Must Speak
Webb	Webb consistently delivers superlative performances. We’ve come to expect this from the Sisserou Singer. Will this be his luck year? Singing Like Father Like Son
